Midnight to Monaco debuts racy video to "One In A Million"

The controversial clip reveals the dark realities of Hollywood dreams for young actors

Midnight to Monaco has released the heated video for their single, “One In A Million,” exclusively on V. Though you may be unfamiliar with the name, the collaboration pulls together two promising talents in contemporary music, Ricky Ducati and producer Donnie Sloan, who has notably worked with Empire of the Sun. With the fiery collision of their shared indie experience, the duo have delivered a punchy sound to the backdrop of must-see visual production. And it's all steamed together in a hot mix of tension, fury, and debauchery—with a handful of substance abuse thrown in to rev up the zest of rebellion. This isn't a video to watch with your parents, and potentially NSFW—unless, of course, you work at a fashion magazine in downtown New York City.

Directed by Nicolas Randall & Marc-Edouard Leon, and shot in LA, the video follows the story of Ricky Ducati, a failed acting icon facing the stark reality of Tinsletown. Ducati explained, "We wanted to make a video that combines our favorite aesthetic elements from the last 70 years. Much in the same way we approach making our music. We're very much into mid-century fashion, architecture and vintage cars. Our goal was to combine those elements in a modern context with a compelling story about the darker side of LA.”
